Themes In William Golding's Novels
Beginning of paper
The main theme in William Golding’s novels is that man turns back
to their evil and primitive nature when something goes wrong. He often
compare man with characters from the Bible to give a better picture of his
descent. In his novels he proves an important point about the way man
rises to power and there fall from grace. Golding asl .... Middle of paper .... In those years he started to write. He
published “Lord of the Flies” (1954), “The Inheritors” (1955), ‘Pincher
Martin” (1956), and “Free Fall” (1959). In 1983 he was awarded the Nobel
Peace Prize. His last book was published in 1995. He died in Wiltshire,
England in 1993.
In the first novel William Golding wrote, Lord of the Flies, is the
story of a group of boys of different backgrounds, who are stranded on a
island after there plane crash ....
